School Memories

Dreaming starts before one's birth. The sentence looks weird, but this is the truth. It’s right that a baby can’t dream, as we know that some start dreaming at 12, some at 15, and some at 18. But a Father and a Mother always dream that they will have a nice baby and he will be/do something in the future.
Accordingly, we started growing and getting admitted to a school.

School:  When I was 6 years old I was admitted to a school named, ‘Bangladesh school Bahrain’. It was situated at ‘Kanoo garden, Manama’ in ‘Bahrain’. I was in HKG (Higher Kindergarten). There were three sections (A, B, C). I was in B. From there my school level was started. Time was going and we were getting older. Class 5, time for PSC exam. I was 11. Our result was published and I scored 4.50 out of 5.00. After class 6, we were back in Bangladesh. Actually, It was much costly living there. So, we left Bahrain. I was missing my friends.

SWSSC (South West Saleh Ahmed School and College) is my next school. It was situated in Koitak. I was admitted to class 7. On my first day in the school, I joined the class and our class teacher was Mr. Abul Hasan. He took our English class. Everyone was looking at me when I introduced myself in English. This happened because it was a Bangla medium school. I took my phone in the class and my father telephoned me at the time I was in the class. Suddenly, my phone started ringing and I picked my phone and talked with my father. Everyone’s eye was on me. Hasan Sir then called me and advised me that smartphones are not allowed in class. I was a little bit nervous as it was my first day. I made a lot of friends but I didn’t talk with the girls in our class. On our sports day, I took part in the math quiz, and the rule of the game was completing the math and submitting. Those who will submit first he wins. But this depends on the answers. That time when I was completing the quiz the girls of our class were holding the questions and since then we started talking with each other. Two English Teachers and a science teacher were added, Mr. Shibbir Ahmed, Mr. Enamul Haque, and Mr. Shohidul Islam. Class 8, some of our teachers left and new teachers joined. At the end of 8, Mr. Saurav Sarkar (as a science teacher), joined us. Time for the JSC exam we were 29 examiners. The most shocking news was our JSC result. Among the 31 examiners, 22 of them scored a GPA of 5.00. Class 9, time for group selection. Some new students joined and we were 48 in total. In the case of group selection taking science group was my goal. But according to the rules of our school, those who got golden can get science and those who got A+ they must attend an exam.  Those who will be qualified can get science and take higher math as optional. Shibbir sir left and replacing him Mr. Obaydul Haque Ashfaq joined. Some more teachers were also added as the college level was started. Mr. Enamul Kabir (Maths/Higher Maths), Mr. Al Zakir (Biology), Mr. Azhar (Chemistry). Our classes started but we were not so serious. All of our classes were going well except for one. In chemistry classes, Azhar sir regularly joined us, and without making us understand he used to read the topics and skipped one by one. Our chemistry syllabus was completed but we didn’t learn anything. We complained about the topic to Mr. Mahmud Ali (principal). Our principal was very friendly and I never saw such a friendly and supportive principal anywhere. A meeting was arranged and Mr. Azhar was called with his educational certificates. Everyone was shocked knowing that he was a biology teacher. 1 year lost without having touch with chemistry. Our principal was nervous thinking about us because we were the SSC examiner and we were in 10. Our time was very short because our exam was very close. In some way, he found a chemistry teacher, Mr. Azad. Our classes started and our teachers stood more serious than us. Somehow we completed our chemistry syllabus. We were also not in touch with Bangla 2nd paper. So our principal managed a Bangla teacher for us. Mr. Abu Taher Mohammed Layek, he started with us in a very short time and completed. Time for the model test, which was held in our school itself. Our model test result was published and the result was discreditable for us. We started being more serious. Finally, the last class party we did and the rag day, we were leaving the memories behind. SSC exam, we did well in the exam our result was published and 10 students got a GPA of 5 among the 48 students. School-level completed……
